Introduction to basic parameters of vacuum pump-EUREKA

1. Pumping rate of vacuum pump:

The pumping speed unit of the vacuum pump is m/h, l/min or l/s. It means that when the pump is equipped with a standard test cover and operates according to the specified conditions, the gas flow rate flowing through the test cover is the same as the gas flow rate measured at the designated position of the test cover. The obtained imbalance pressure ratio. Referred to as the pumping speed.

2. Ultimate pressure of vacuum pump:

The ultimate pressure unit of the pump is Pa, which refers to the pressure under the relative atmospheric pressure that tends to be stable when the pump is equipped with a measuring tool at the outlet and operates normally without introducing gas.

3. Vapor tolerance of vacuum pump:

The allowable unit of steam is kg/h, which refers to the mass flow rate of steam that can be extracted by the gas ballast pump during continuous operation under normal conditions.

4. Pumping speed coefficient of vacuum pump:

The ratio of the theoretical pumping speed of the pump to the cost-effective practical pumping speed based on molecular effusion at the pump outlet.

5. Backflow rate of vacuum pump:

The unit of pump return flow rate is g/cm2.s. It refers to the mass flow rate of the pump flow through the unit area of the pump outlet when the pump operates according to the specified conditions.

6. Residual pressure:

It is also called ultimate vacuum, which is the lowest pressure that the vacuum pump can reach in a stable state, expressed in "Torr" or %. 1Torr=1/760atm=133.3Pa.

7. Air pumping volume:

At a certain temperature, the vacuum pump can remove a specified amount of gas from the equipment per unit time, which is called the air extraction volume, in m3/h.

8. Vacuum can be divided into 4 levels:

Rough vacuum (RV): 1000 - 1mbar                                                Medium vacuum (MV): 1 - 10-3mbar

High vacuum (HV): <10-3 -10-7mbar                                            Ultra high vacuum (UHV): <10-7mbar
